Netherbury is one of the most lovely villages in West Dorset, with the Village Hall nestling in the shadow of the beautiful 12th Century parish church. The Hall and the adjacent Reading Room are at the heart of the community.

The Hall itself was extensively refurbished and extended in 2008 and brought right up to date with a sustainable heating system powered by wood pellets, all new furniture, and a professional quality kitchen. There is a good-sized stage with stage lighting and a sound system. The Hall seats up to 80 theatre-style or a maximum of 60 when laid out for dining.

Next to the Hall is the ancient Reading Room, also beautifully renovated and with its own small kitchen and WC. Seating up to 30, it's ideal for smaller events, it boasts an original wooden floor, is simply furnished, and warmed by a pellet stove.

There is car parking for approximately 15 cars in front of the Hall.

The Village Hall is the venue for many activities and can also be hired for your own events.
